藉以運動項目撐竿跳轉化為植物極富生命力的生長姿態，更在凌躍極限後的撐竿表面彩繪奇異的植物性語彙，象徵轉化，彩繪層層雲海隱喻重重的障礙，以騰空後的寬闊藍色天際勉勵學子勇敢突破界限，而創作由土地延伸至天空漸變為海水，也正把北體完整且多元的陸海空運動項目表現無遺。 本創作藉由立體不鏽鋼與平面彩繪讓這個建築的過渡空間在虛實之間營造奇異的生命力，使夢想與現實僅在於一線之隔，鼓勵敢於追夢突破的創新能量。由立體雕塑與平面彩繪讓建築的過渡空間在虛實中營造奇異的生命力，使夢想與現實僅有一線之隔，藉以鼓勵敢於追夢突破的創新能量。

The Transitional Space for school
This work uses the curve tension form of pole vault to represent the growth of plant. The rising pole stalks symbolize students who absorb knowledge and become mature in the college. They grow from the soil, breaking through earthly restraints to reach the clouds and it is this transcendence of limits that defines sport. Through three dimensional sculpture and painting the piece creates an amazingly vibrant virtual/real arena from the transitional space in the building. In this way, reality and dreams are used to encourage those with creative energy to pursue their dreams and self-transcendence.
